    Evaluation on the Uncertainty of Iodine in Urine Analyzed by As-Ce Catalytic Spectrophotometry

    • Objectives To evaluate the uncertainty of iodine in urine analyzed by As-Ce catalytic spectrophotometry(WS/T107-2006) to make the results more objective and accurate. Methods A mathematic model was established by the results determined by the WS/T107-2006method,and each component of the uncertainty was analyzed and calculated by the model. Results The expanded uncertainty was3.0μg/L(k=2) while the iodine content was 85.25μg/L. Conclusion The uncertainty of the concentration of standard solution was the main source of the uncertainty component for iodine in urine analyzed by As-Ce catalytic spectrophotometry.
