Adverse Effect of Cadmium Exposure on Reproductive System, a Review

Cadmium (Cd) is one of heavy metals with high toxicity. The adverse effects of cadmium exposure have become one of the most concerned issues. The sources and pathways of cadmium exposure, its impacts on human reproduction system and possible mechanisms of cadmium in environmental exposure were reviewed, and some suggestions for the research in the future were also discussed.
