Progress on Methods of Measuring Microcystins in Biological Samples

    • With the aggravation of water pollution and eutrophication, the frequency and scale of water bloom is becoming more and more serious. The higher content of microcystins (MCs) in water can be enriched in aquatic animals such as fish and shrimp shell, thus can endanger human health through food-chain. There are a lot of MCs measurement technologies at domestic and abroad. The progress on the methods of measuring MCs was reviewed in the aspects of detection principles, applications and usability of operation. The advantages and disadvantages of various MCs measuring methods were summarized, and some new directions were also proposed.
