    • Objectives To choise a reansonable layout, and to reduce effection on the surrounding population.
      Methods Power frequency electromagnetic radiation is comparatively analysed between different layout of 220 kV transformer substations.
      Results It is founded the mode of indoor layout can significantly reduce electromagnetic file strength.
      Conclusions It is recommended that the mode of indoor layout could be chosen firstly in crowded areas.
