Comprehensive Evaluation on Sanitary Quality of Public Entertainment Places in Zhongshan City

Objectives  To find out the sanitary quality of public entertainment places in Zhongshan City and protect the security of public health.

Methods  The sanitary quality of 7 categories of public entertainment places in Zhongshan City in 2013 was assessed by using an index comprehensive assessment method.

Results  The sanitary quality was close in 7 categories of public entertainment places. The sanitary quality in the public places of chess and card room, karaoke dance hall, and internet bars were in Grade Ⅰ, and the sanitary quality in the public places of billiards room, recreation hall, movie and theater, and bar/teahouse/cafe were in Grade Ⅱ. The relative humidity in movie theater and billiards room in single index quality evaluation was in Grade Ⅲ.

Conclusions  The sanitary quality of public entertainment places was good in Zhongshan City in 2013. The main influencing factors were relative humidity, temperature and noise.
