    Analysis on the Water Quality of Centralized Water Supplies along the Railway Lines f Lanzhou Railway Administration in 2006—2010

    • Objectives To provide theoretical basis for establishing strategies of keeping the water from centralized water suppliers safe through analyzing the quality of water supplied along the railway lines of Lanzhou Railway Administration.
      Methods Using the health supervision and monitoring data of centralized water supplied in six train service depots of Lanzhou Railway Administration in 2006—2010 to produce statistical analysis.
      Results The pass rates of total coliform bacteria colonies, coliforms and heat resistant organisms in water were 95% or more; the quality of toxicology, sensory properties and general chemical indexes of water in five years had not changed, the qualified rates of most indicators were maintained at 90%.
      Conclusions The quality of water in the centralized water suppliers along the railway lines of Lanzhou Railway Administration was good.Strengthening dynamic management to ensure the quality and safety of water is necessary.
