    Comparative Study of Limit Values and Test Methods for Civil Aircraft Cabin Air Quality Standards

    • Objectives To provide the references for aircraft cabin air pollution accident investigation, aircraft airworthiness certification and cabin environmental health monitor.
      Methods Comparative study of the limit values and testing methods of cabin air quality standards.
      Results There are different parameters of civilian aircraft cabin air quality between China and other countries. The limit of cabin relative humidity in China is greater than other countries. The cabin temperature limit according to the season in China is different from other countries with limit according to the ground and cruise state. Limit value of cabin wind speed in China is greater than that in other countries. The cabin carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide concentration limits in China are less than those in other countries.Some of related measures also have a certain gap with foreign.
      Conclusions Parts of limit values and testing methods of health standards for public transport are not reasonable enough.We should develop aircraft cabin air quality standards system in China, including aircraft cabin air quality limits, test methods and evaluation guidelines, etc.
