      • Abstract
    • Objectives  To develop a sensitive method for the determination of volatile phenols， cyanides and DBS( sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate) in water by flow injection analysis ( FIA ) .
      Method  Comparing the results of volatile phenols， cyanides and DBS in water were detected by FIA with spectrophotography.
      Results  The sensitivity and efficiency could be greatly improved by FIA under the premise of ensuring accuracy.
      Conclusions  The method was simple， fast and responsive， and suitable for the determination of volatile phenols， cyanides and DBS( sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate) in drinking water samples.
