    Transmission and detection of SARS-CoV-2 in the environment

    • Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The COVID-19 epidemic is considered as a major global public health emergency for its fast, widespread, and uncontrollable transmission across the world at unprecedented levels in the past century. Detection of SARS-CoV-2 in the environment is an important part of COVID-19 epidemic control. This paper reviewed the transmission and detection of SARS-CoV-2 in the environment.
