Abstract

Oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) is of great significance for swimming pool water quality. This article introduces the hygienic significance of ORP and its related influencing factors, compares the ORP status of swimming pool water between China and foreign countries, and elaborates on the necessity of the hygienic standard formulation of ORP for swimming pool water in China with reference to the current status of ORP in swimming pool water in China.
