Interpretation of the Hygienic Specification for Public Toilet(GB/T 17217-2021)

The Hygienic Specification for Public Toilet (GB/T 17217-2021) (herein referred to as "Specification") specifies the sanitary requirements, hygienic evaluation indicators and thresholds for the planning, design, construction and management of public toilets. This article interprets the background and main contents of the revision of the Specification(such as the hygienic requirements for planning, design, construction and management) and the hygienic evaluation indicators and their thresholds, in order to help users correctly understand the terms of the Specification and promote the application and implementation of the Specification.
