Problems and countermeasures in urban household waste classification and treatment in China

Household waste is one of the main sources of environmental pollution, and waste classifying and recycling is the intermediate link of solid waste disposal. This article analyzes the current status of the construction of urban household waste classification and treatment system in China, discusses the shortcomings in household waste classification and treatment, and gives recommendations for waste collection, classified disposal, and management.
