    Determination of 12 organophosphorus pesticides in drinking water by GC-MS

    • Objective To establish the determination of 12 organophosphorus pesticides in drinking water automatic solid-phase extraction-gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method.
      Methods Trace organophosphorus pesticides in water purification by HLB solid-phase extraction column, using methylene chloride, concentration to 1 mL, the separation was carried out by quantitative injection into DB-1701 capillary column, The separated components were subjected to mass spectrometry for qualitative and quantitative analysis in selective ion monitoring mode (SIM).
      Resuslts The 12 organophosphorus pesticides in water could be separated effectively within 23.5 min. The linear range was 0.05 μg/mL - 2.0 μg/mL. The detection limits were 0.004 μg/L - 0.06 μg/L. The recoveries were 71.5% - 118%, and the RSDs were 2.45% - 9.17%.
      Conclusion Automatic solid phase extraction and (GC-MS) method is simple, rapid and sensitive for simultaneous determination of organophosphorus pesticides.
