Personal Protection Strategies for On-site Personnel Undertaking Prevention and Control Tasks during the COVID-19 Epidemic

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, on-site personnel undertaking epidemic prevention and control tasks have faced enormous risks of being infected. It has great significance to adopt scientific and standardized personal protection strategies to protect the health of these professionals. This article analyzed the personal protection strategies for on-site personnel during the epidemic from the aspects including relevant background, routes of transmission of COVID-19, standard prevention, and selection and use of personal protection appliance based on the routes of transmission and work characteristics.
