Research Advances in Exposure Level of Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances in Human Body

    • Perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) are emerging persistent organic pollutants in the environment. In recent years, PFASs have been detected in various environmental media and organisms around the world, and various toxic effects of PFASs pose great threats to ecosystem and human. Determination of the exposure level of PFASs in the general population has great significance in assessing the impact of PFASs on human health. This article reviews the current exposure level of PFASs in human body, describes the detection of PFASs in different biological samples, analyzes the characteristics of exposure to PFASs in human body, and points out the deficiency in current research and future perspectives, so as to provide a reference for future research.
