Sanitation and Disinfection on COVID-19 Outbreak for Centralized Medical Observation Sites

Objective To summarize the health and disinfection experience in COVID-19 centralized medical observation sites, and to be a reference to other similar work.

Methods Seventeen observation sites were investiqated.All the problems found were recorded, and the suggestions for rectification were put forward.

Results The health protection distance was less than 500 meters in 6 observation points. The medical observation area and the clean area were not completely separated in a few observation points. Some points located in hotels had inadequate ventilation. Cleaning management difficulties commonly existed in isolation observation rooms. Over disinfection could be found in some observation sites.

Conclusion Some places should not be set as medical observation points, and the sanitary and disinfection situation of some observation points should be improved. It is suggested the health and disinfection should be strengthened and improved from the perspective of administrative management.
