Analysis Monitoring Status and Countermeasure of Cadmium Pollution in Rice in Hunan Province

    • To take full advantage of each system's monitoring data to achieve precision control based on the risk of food safety, this study systematically analyzes the monitoring status and the existing main problems based on the practice of cadmium pollution of rice in Hunan, and proposes a series of coping strategies from the view of information construction, including the establishment of a database of cadmium pollution characteristics in rice through data sharing, which can grasp the spatial and temporal pollution distribution law of the whole chain of rice industry. The risk identification database of environment-rice-health was established to trace the sources and health effects of cadmium pollution in rice. Multi-source data fusion was achieved by establishing the whole chain data coding library, which provides the basis for data sharing. Finally, a monitoring and warning platform was established for cadmium pollution risk in the whole chain of rice by data mining. The platform can improve the comprehensive utilization of data and work efficiency, and more importantly, it will provide technical support for food safety risk management, reduce the health risk of cadmium pollution in rice to acceptable level for human body and society, and propose the consumer suggestions and industry technical support. The design ideas and method of this study can provide reference for the construction of cross-sector and cross-industry data sharing system of food safety risk monitoring.
