Daily Exposure Levels of Phthalates and Health Risk Assessment for Children and Adults in Harbin through Drinking Water and Inhalation Routes

    • Objectives To understand the exposure level of Phthalate Esters(PAEs)in Harbin population through environmental media.
Methods Samples of drinking water, PM2.5 and blood of urban residents were collected in this study and the concentration level of PAEs metabolites in these samples was analyzed by GC/MS 7 890 A-5975C.
Results The result showed that DBP and DIBP contents in water samples were significant and PM2.5samples were mainly detected by DEHP, DMP, DBP and DIBP. 15 kinds of PAEs can be detected in blood samples. The hazard index (HI) of cumulative exposure of children, adolescents and adults were 0.007, 0.005 and 0.004 respectively.
Conclusion Harbin yesident's access to PAEs through drinking water and breathing is relatively safe.
