    Measurement and Analysis of Aerosol Concentration and Particle Size in Workplaces of a Beryllium Factory in Xinjiang

    • Objectives  To know the characteristics of aerosol concentration and particle size distribution of beryllium in workplaces of a beryllium factory in Xinjiang.
      Methods Aerosol number concentration and mass concentration were measure by using a TSI 3321 type APS, and the median diameter and mass median diameter were measured.
      Results The concentration of aerosol in different workplaces of the beryllium factory was quite different.
      Conclusions Some basic data established by investigation and analysis in this study could provide references for developing dust removal measures and enhancing dust protection and occupational health assessment for operators.
