    Risk Factors of Alzheimer's Disease

    • Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is one of the most frequent diseases in developed countries. Even in the low and middle income countries, nearly half of people have been suffering from it. In the past decade, studies demonstrated that biological and sociological factors have obvious influences on the occurrence and development process of AD. Thereinto, risk factors such as genetic and environmental factors, pathological and physiological characteristics, unhealthy lifestyles trigger nervous system symptoms elders comprehensively. Among whom, the risk factor of lifestyle which cause cognitive decline of the elderlies could be intervened; it could be predicted that the cognition disorders would be reduced with time if some adults could overcome these risk factors in early years as many as possible, and the possibility of AD would be decreased as well.
