Status and Prospect of Meteorological Services on Public Health

Since the change of weather, climate and environment was closely related to human health, forecasting, monitoring, early-warning and intervening acts on meteorological-sensitive diseases have assumed the responsibility of actively meeting the challenge of climate change, which had attracted great attention around the world. Weather and climate factors which affecting human health were sorted out and the current domestic and overseas situation of meteorological services on public health were concluded in this article by reviewing extensive literatures and searching result from the Internet; to aim at clarifying the overall trend, directing the ability of building health meteorological services, and providing meaningful references for the research and building meteorological-health service works in China.
