Objectives To investigate the residue of four kinds of pesticide (organic phosphorus, organic chlorine, carbamate and pyrethroid) in greenhouse vegetable in Ledu district, Qinghai province.
Methods Thirty five greenhouse vegetable samples were collected by plum blossom method, and the pesticide residues were determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
Results The detection rate of carbamate was the highest among four pesticides. The highest detection rates for organophosphorus, organochlorine, carbamate and pyrethroid pesticides in greenhouse vegetables were Ketopril (54.29%), DDT (42.86%), methomyl (40.00%) and cyhalothrin (71.43%) respectively.
Conclusions The residues of four kinds of pesticides were detected in greenhouse vegetable, and the detection rate of carbamate pesticide was the highest. The knowledge on the harm of pesticide residues was insufficient in farmers, and it should be strengthened. The personal protective measures should be emphasized. Biological pesticides with high efficiency, low toxicity and pollution-free to environment should be promoted.
