Objectives To explore the analytical method for the adverse reaction of cosmetics, and to provide guidance for workers in an institution monitoring the adverse reaction of cosmetics.
Methods The adverse reaction of cosmetics reported in 2015 in Shandong province was selected as an example to illustrate the key point of analyzing data on the adverse reaction of cosmetics.
Results The data for analyzing the adverse reaction of cosmetics should include four aspects:demographic information, the process of adverse reaction, the information on the cosmetics and the exploratory analysis on the risk of cosmetics.
Conclusions The occurrence of the adverse reaction of cosmetics could be monitored effectively through analyzing the data of the adverse reaction of cosmetics, and the monitoring result could express the actual adverse reaction of cosmetics directly.
