    Adsorption Behavior and Effect on Biont of Microplastic

    • As a new environmental pollutant, microplastic has been paid more attention among researchers. Micrplastic that stays a long time in environment will adsorb contaminants (such as heavy metals, organic pollutants, etc). When ingested by organisms, it will desorb pollutants and make a series of ecotoxicity. At the same time, microplastic in water supports a site for microorganism and form a biofilm on the microplastic surface with the increase of microorganism.In this paper, it summarized literatures related to the adsorption behavior of microplastic in recent years and point out the development direction of this filed.
