Interpretation for Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics (2015 Edition)

Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics (2015 Edition) (hereinafter referred to as Technical Standards) approved by China Food and Drug Administration, and will be implemented since December 1, 2016.Technical Standard is revised from Hygienic Standard for Cosmetics (2007 Edition) (hereinafter referred to as Hygienic Standard) Issued by Former Ministry of Health.This paper interprets the main changes of the Technical Standards, and discusses the possible impact of the implementation of the cosmetics business, supervision institutions and countermeasures.
