    Calculating Particle Size Distribution Rapidly by Multi-Stage Impactor

    • Objective  To eatablish a data processing station to solve the time-comsuming manulal calcution when measuring partioutate matters by multi-stage inpater(WY-1).
      Method  Based on the requirement of WY-1 data processing, a GBSS "data processing station" was developed l)y the GPSSS quick calculating software and apply Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 C#; the set of dynamic link library and procedure executive program were all based on the requirement of Microsoft Framework 3.5.
      Results  After inputting the data from WY-1, the following results could be obtained:the cumulative mass percent of particles less than different cut-off diameters/(Dc); the cumulative mass percent of particles less than different diameter D (including PM10 and PM2.5) based on the regression line of log-normal probability distribution, medium diameter D50 and geometric deviation Sg.
      Conclution  Only several minutes was needed to complete the whole calculation on GBSS "data processing station".The time for data processing was greatly shorten, which may render the WY-1 test creating an evident environmental benefit in multiple domains.
