Objective To learn the hygienic status of secondary watersupplies of a city and provide scientific basis for health supervision and management.
Methods Secondary watersupply samples were collected,detected and evaluated according to the standard examination methods for drinking water(GB/T 5750-2006).
Results A total of 1566 water samples were monitored in 2012-2015,in which 1 008 samples were qualified, with an overall qualified rates of 64.4%. The qualified rate in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 were 55.9%, 62.7%, 75.5% and 61.5%, respectively. The qualified rate of residual chlorine was the lowest (69.0%).
Conclusion The qualified rates of secondary watersupplies of the city were low in 2012-2015. It is important to enhance the inspection and administration of secondary watersupplies, so as to improve the quality and guarantee the safety of drinking water.
