Effect of Organic Pollutants in Songhua River on Human Health

Attention to the organic pollutants in Songhua River has been paid generally for a long time.The sources and distribution properties of organic pollutants in Songhua River were reviewed; and the health risks of exposure to organic pollutants, such as organochlorine pesticides, phthalates and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon were evaluated.Some recommendations for prevention and control measures were suggested.This study would provide reference for further research.
