    Urea Determination in Water of Swimming Pools by CFI

    • Objective To develop a quick and accurate method for the determination of urea in swimming pool water, urea was detected by CFI. Method Using a continuous flow injector, urea was detected by CFI. Results The linear range was 0.10~4.0 mg/L; the correlation coefficient was 0.9997; the relative standard deviation was 0.51%~2.9%; the detection limit was 0.021 mg/L; the recovery rate of standard addition was 90.0%~110.0%. Conclusion Continuous flow injection analysis is simple, rapid, stable, accurate and sensitive, which is suitable for the determination of urea in swimming pool water.
