Abstract:
Objectives To ensure the accuracy and reliability of monitoring results of water analysis and to strengthen the quality control in laboratories.
Methods Two quality control water samples containing different content of iron, manganese, fluoride, sulfate and nitrate were delivered to 73 laboratories of Guizhou. The results were statistically analyzed by internationally accepted "Z-score".
Results The tested result of 69 laboratories was submitted on time, the qualified rates for two iron concentrations were 91.2% and 97.1%, those for manganese were 91.2% and 91.9%, and those for fluoride, sulfate and nitrate nitrogen were 90.9% and 91.7%, 90.9% and 94.4% and 90.9% and 88.9% respectively. The satisfaction rate for five detection items in all laboratories was 73.9%.
Conclusions The general capability of analysis on drinking water needs to be further improved in Guizhou.
