    A Rapid Method of Detecting Total Dissolved Solids in Rural Drinking Water

    • 摘要:
      目的 建立一种快速、简便、经济而又符合要求的快速检测水样品中溶解性总固体的新方法。
      方法 应用水样中溶解性总固体含量与电导率间存在的相关关系, 通过直接测定水样的电导率来间接测定水中溶解性总固体的含量。
      结果 本法测定结果与国标法比较, 差异无显著性。
      结论 用电导仪直接测定饮用水中溶解性总固体, 操作简单、快速、结果符合要求, 适用于基层大批量样品的快速检测。

       

      Abstract:
      Objectives To establish a rapid, simple and economical method of detecting total dissolved solids in drinking water.
      Methods Applying the correlation between total dissolved solids in water and its specific conductivity, the total content of dissolved solids in the water sample could be measured indirectly by the reference of an electrical conductivity meter.
      Results There was no significant difference between the measured results by electrical conductivity meter and by the national standard method.
      Conclusions The advantage of the method applying a conductivity meter to indirectly measure total dissolved solids in drinking water was simple in operation, quick, accordance with the requirements, and also applicable for the preliminary detection of large quantities of samples.
