Abstract:
Objectives To develop an analytical method for the determination of bisphenol A in drinking water by high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detector, and to provide reference basis for revising the "Health Standards for Drinking Water"(GB/T 5750-2006) in the future.
Methods After drinking water samples being centrifuged and separated by C18 column and using methanol/water as mobile phase, the content of bisphenol A was determined by HPLC.
Results The limit of quantification was 0.002 mg/L, the recovery rate was 95%~105%, and the RSD was less than 2%.
Conclusions The results of this method could meet the demands of detecting bisphenol A in drinking water without the operation of sample enrichment.
