    A Survey on Radioactivity in Rain-water in Kunshan

      目的 了解昆山市雨水中放射性水平。
      方法 2013年5月至2014年2月采集合格的雨水样本33份, 按照《生活饮用水标准检验方法》(GB/T 5750.13-2006) 对总α和总β放射性水平进行分析。
      结果 雨水样品的总α放射性水平在(1.66±0.45)×10-2~(27.57±0.89)×10-2 Bq/L之间, 平均值为(8.81±7.59)×10-2 Bq/L; 总β放射性水平在(2.41±0.91)×10-2~(15.71±0.95)×10-2 Bq/L之间, 平均值为(7.09±3.73)10-2 Bq/L。总β/α比值的平均值为1.34, 变动范围从0.35到5.51不等。
      结论 昆山雨水总放射性处于正常的天然放射性本底水平, 有明显性波动。应进一步加强监测探明规律。

       

      Abstract:
      Objectives To learn the radioactivity in rain water in Kunshan.
      Methods Thirty three rain-water samples were collected from May 2013 to February 2014.Total α and total β radioactivity in rain-water were analyzed according to "Standard Examination Methods for Drinking Water-Radiological Parameters"(GB/T 5750.13-2006).
      Results The total α radioactivity in rain-water samples was(1.66±0.45)×10-2~(27.57±0.89)×10-2 Bq/L, the average value was(8.81±7.59)×10-2 Bq/L.The total β radioactivity in rain-water samples was(2.41±0.91)×10-2~(15.71±0.95)×10-2 Bq/L, the average value was(7.09±3.73)10-2 Bq/L.The average β/α ratio was 1.34 (0.35~5.51).
      Conclusions The total radioactivity in rain-water was in the normal background level of natural radioactivity, but the fluctuation was significant.Further monitoring should be strengthened to explore the reason of variation on radioactivity in rain-water.
