Abstract:
Objectives To establish a determination method of niclosamide in drinking water.
Methods Niclosamide in drinking water was extracted by butyl acetate/petroleum ether mixture, then stripped by NaOH solution, and the content of niclosamide in NaOH solution was determined by photometry on wavelength 380 nm.
Results The limit of detection was 0.03 mg/L, the liner correlation coefficient was 0.9995, the RSD was 6.1%, and the average recovery was 97.0%.
Conclusions The method was accurate and could be applied for the determination of niclosamide in drinking water.
