Bisphenol A is a potentially harmful chemical with estrogenic activity, which has been widely used in the production of plastic products. Because of its widespread exposure in the environment, bisphenol A has impacts on human health, especially on reproductive and developmental systems. In recent years, more and more researches have focused on the association between bisphenol A and sex-hormone-related tumors. The possibility of the relationship between bisphenol A and sex-hormone-related tumors, such as breast cancer, ovarian cancer, endometrial carcinoma and prostate cancer was reviewed and discussed in this paper.
