Abstract:
Objectives To analyze the changing trend for indicators influencing the environmental quality in a mall and to establish an early warning system.
Methods The samples for the air quality in the market was collected from January 9, 2012 to December 22, 2012, and the indicators were PM10, formaldehyde, CO, CO2, temperature and relative humidity.
Results The results of PM10, formaldehyde, CO, CO2, temperature and relative humidity fluctuated up and down during business hours and were around 0.07 mg/m3, 0.07 mg/m3, 3.5 mg/m3, 0.065%, 24.2℃ and 36.9% respectively.
Conclusions The pollution of formaldehyde was the worst especially in the May Day and the National Day. The pollution of PM10 was heavier in the week for the anniversary of the mall. Relative humidity was difficult to reach the standard requirement, and other indicators were qualified basically.
