    Monitoring the Consumption of Iodine-added Salt in Shishou in 2010-2012

      目的 了解湖北省石首市居民户食用盐碘情况,评估碘盐监测效果,为指导碘缺乏病防治工作提供科学依据。
      方法 根据《全国碘盐监测方案》,采用随机抽样法进行抽样,用直接滴定法进行盐碘测定,并对检测结果进行统计学分析。
      结果 2010-2012年共检测876份居民户碘盐,合格837份。居民的碘盐覆盖率为99.43%;碘盐合格率和合格碘盐食用率均为95.55%。盐碘含量中位数为34.0 mg/kg。
      结论 石首市近3年的居民食用碘盐覆盖率和合格碘盐食用率符合国家消除碘缺乏病标准,食盐加碘措施在本地区得到了落实,目前能保证人群获得适宜的碘营养。

       

      Abstract:
      Objectives To explore the status of consuming iodine-added salt in Shishou residents and to evaluate the effect of universal salt iodization for the prevention of iodine deficiency.
      Methods According to the National Monitoring Program for Salt Iodization, the salt samples were collected from households by random and the iodine content was detected by direct titration methods. The results were analyzed statistically by Excel and SPSS.
      Results Totally 876 salt samples were detected in 2010-2012 and 837 samples were qualified. The coverage of iodized salt was 99.43%. Both the qualified rate of iodinated salt and the rate of consuming qualified iodized salt were 95.55%. The median iodine content in salt samples was 34.00 mg/kg.
      Conclusions The coverage rate of consuming iodized salt and the rate of consuming qualified iodized salt in 2010-2012 in Shishou were consistent with the standard requirement of eliminating iodine deficiency. The universal salt iodization has been implemented locally in Shishou, and the nutrition for iodine has been guaranteed.
