Abstract:
Global warming is a serious threat to human life and health. Numerous studies have shown that high temperatures can increase the risk of mortality in populations. To address the health hazards of high temperatures on the population, increasing the level of green spaces may be an important measure for health adaptation strategies. In recent years, some studies have found that increasing green space can reduce the heat-related mortality risk. In order to systematically understand the current status of studies on the modification of heat-related mortality risk by green space, this paper reviews the current studies on the modification of heat-related mortality risk by green space. Most of the studies found that green space has a modifying effect on the heat-related mortality risk. The modifying effects varied with region, population, and exposure indicator. Therefore, in the future, in-depth studies on the modification of heat-related mortality risk by green space should be strengthened to effectively reduce the heat-related mortality risk
