    气温与暴力关联的流行病学研究进展

    Epidemiological research progress on the association between air temperature and violence

    • 摘要: 全球气候变暖已成为严重威胁人类生命健康的重要环境因素。大量研究表明极端气温事件与人群发病或死亡有关。近年来,有研究发现气温与人群自杀或他杀有关。为了系统地了解气温与暴力关联的研究现状,本文综述了目前关于气温与暴力关联的流行病学研究进展。大多数研究认为气温变化可能与自杀、凶杀、强奸、袭击、抢劫和集团暴力等有关,发生机制较为复杂,主要有生物学机制、日常活动机制和社会经济因素驱动机制。然而,部分研究发现两者没有关联或者关联不显著。因此未来应加强气温变化与暴力关联的深入研究,采取相应的适应措施,有效减少气温相关的暴力事件发生。

       

      Abstract: Global warming has become an important environmental factor that seriously threatens human life and health. Numerous studies have linked extreme temperature events to human morbidity or mortality. In recent years, studies have found that air temperature has been demonstrated to be related to human suicide or homicide. For a systematical understanding of the link between air temperature and violence, this paper reviews current epidemiological research advances on their associations. Most studies suggested that temperature change may be associated with suicide, homicide, rape, assault, robbery, and group violence, and the underlying mechanisms are complex, which mainly include biological mechanisms, daily activity mechanisms, and socioeconomic factors-driven mechanisms. However, some studies found no or insignificant association. Therefore, further studies on the relationship between temperature change and violence should be strengthened in the future, and adaptation measures should be taken to effectively reduce the incidence of temperature-related violence.
