    Pollution characteristics of metals in PM2.5 and their health risk assessment in Dezhou and Jinan of Shandong Province, China, 2019

    • 摘要:
      目的 分析2019年山东省通道城市德州市和济南市大气细颗粒物(PM2.5)中主要金属的污染特征及健康风险。
      方法 采用富集因子法和主成分分析法解析2019年德州市和济南市采样点大气PM2.5中金属来源,基于健康风险模型评估金属的致癌和非致癌风险。
      结果 德州市采样点大气PM2.5中金属元素浓度水平排序为Zn>K>Fe>Ca>Mn>Pb>Cu>As>Cr>Ti>Ni,济南市采样点为Ca>Fe>K>Zn>Cu>Pb>Mn>Ti>Cr>As>Ni。德州市采样点PM2.5中As、Zn和Pb严重富集;Cu轻微富集。济南采样点PM2.5中Zn、Cu严重富集;Pb、Ni轻微富集。主成分分析结果表明,两市主要污染源为燃煤、工业排放源、机动车源。健康风险分析表明,德州市和济南市采样点PM2.5中金属的非致癌风险低,但As、Cr均存在潜在致癌风险,相较于成人,儿童风险较高。
      结论 需关注燃煤和机动车尾气对人群健康的影响。

       

      Abstract:
      Objective To analyze the pollution characteristics and health risks of metals in atmospheric fine particulate matter (PM2.5) in the channel cities of Dezhou and Jinan, Shandong Province, 2019.
      Methods The enrichment factor method and principal component analysis were used to analyze the sources of metals in atmospheric PM2.5 at sampling points in Dezhou and Jinan in 2019, and the carcinogenic and non-carcinogenic risks of heavy metals were evaluated based on the health risk model.
      Results The concentration levels of metal elements in atmospheric PM2.5 at the sampling points in Dezhou were in the order of Zn>K>Fe>Ca>Mn>Pb>Cu>As>Cr>Ti>Ni, and those at the sampling points in Jinan were Ca>Fe>K>Zn>Cu >Pb>Mn>Ti>Cr>As>Ni. As, Zn and Pb were heavily enriched in PM2.5 at the sampling point in Dezhou, while Cu was slightly enriched. Zn and Cu were heavily enriched in PM2.5 of Jinan sampling point, while Pb and Ni were slightly enriched. The principal component analysis result showed that the main sources of pollution in the two cities were coal combustion, industrial smelting pollution, and vehicle exhaust. Health risk asscssment showed that the non-carcinogenic risk of heavy metals in PM2.5 in Dezhou and Jinan was low, but As and Cr have potential carcinogenic risks, especially for children.
      Conclusion Attention should be paid to the impact of loal burning and motor vehicle exhaust on populations' health.
