    Study on the relationship between phthalate esters and thyroid cancer

    • 摘要:
      目的 通过比较甲状腺癌患者与正常人群血液中邻苯二甲酸酯(phthalate esters,PAEs)含量水平,探究PAEs与甲状腺癌的关系。
      方法 选取甲状腺癌患者30例和健康个体30例,收集人群一般资料并采集血清样品,采用气相色谱—质谱联用仪对血清中15种PAEs的含量进行测定,比较组间PAEs的差异并利用Logistic回归分析探索PAEs暴露与甲状腺癌的关系。
      结果 对15种PAEs的检测分析表明DEP、DIBP、DBP、DMEP、BMPP、DEEP、DPP、DCHP、DEHP的检出率均高于70%,DEP、DMEP、DBP、DEHP在两组间差异具有统计学意义(P < 0.05)。DEHP在病例组的含量中位值为204.049 μg/L(203.177 μg/L~204.563 μg/L),多因素Logistic回归分析发现DEHP是甲状腺癌的危险因素(OR=2.035,95% CI:1.154~3.579,P < 0.05)。
      结论 DEHP暴露可能会增加甲状腺癌的风险。

       

      Abstract:
      Objective To investigate the relationship between phthalate esters (PAEs) and thyroid cancer by comparing the levels of PAEs in the blood of thyroid cancer patients and normal population.
      Methods Thirty patients with thyroid cancer and 30 healthy individuals were selected to collect their general information and serum samples. The levels of 15 PAEs contents in serum were measured by GC-MS, and the differences of PAEs contents between the two groups were compared and the relationship between PAEs exposure and thyroid cancer was explored by logistic regression analysis.
      Results The monitoring results of the 15 PAEs showed that the detection rates of DEP, DIBP, DBP, DMEP, BMPP, DEEP, DPP, DCHP, and DEHP were all higher than 70%, and there were significant differences in DEP, DMEP, DBP, and DEHP contents between the two groups (P < 0.05). The median of DEHP in the case group was 204.049 μg/L (203.177 μg/L-204.563 μg/L). Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that DEHP expoure was a risk factor for incidence of thyroid cancer (OR=2.035, 95%CI: 1.154-3.579, P < 0.05).
      Conclusion DEHP exposure may increase the risk of thyroid cancer prevalence.
