Abstract:
Climate change poses a very serious threat to human health. Many countries in the world have formulated adaptation strategies for climate change, listed public health as an area of concern, and put forward adaptation plans based on health risk priorities. Moreover, the adaptation plan was promoted relevant work through cross-department cooperation and establishment of rules and regulations in their countries. China attaches great importance to the issue of climate change and has formulated a series of adaptation strategies and plans, established the policy system and organizational structure for coping with climate change, and carried out various scientific research projects to promote the identification of climate-sensitive diseases and vulnerable population, but adaptation measures are still weaker than mitigation measures. Based on international advanced experience and the current situation of China, it is needed for the government to strengthen the actions in promoting legislation, enhancing science and technology support, and improving health literacy, so as to effectively manage and cope with the current and future health risks of climate change.
