    儿童邻苯二甲酸酯类物质暴露的健康风险评估

    Health risk assessment of exposure to phthalates among children

    • 摘要:
      目的 检测儿童尿中邻苯二甲酸酯类物质(PAEs)代谢产物的浓度,评估儿童PAEs暴露的健康风险。
      方法 采用高效液相串联-质谱法检测202名一年级学生尿中8种PAEs代谢产物:邻苯二甲酸单(2-乙基己)酯(MEHP)、邻苯二甲酸单(2-乙基-5-羟己基)酯(MEHHP)、邻苯二甲酸单(2-乙基-5-氧己基)酯(MEOHP)、邻苯二甲酸单丁酯(MBP)和邻苯二甲酸单乙酯(MEP)、邻苯二甲酸单甲酯(MMP)、邻苯二甲酸单苄基酯(MBzP)和邻苯二甲酸单辛酯(MOP)的浓度;然后根据已知的生物监测当量(BE)和上述代谢产物浓度评估PAEs暴露的健康风险。
      结果 MEHP、MEOHP、MEHHP和MBP检出率均高于90%;经BE分析,所有学生发育毒性暴露风险系数 < 1.0,46%学生尿中邻苯二甲酸二丁酯(dibutyl phthalate,DBP)代谢物生殖毒性暴露风险系数>1.0,10%的女生尿中邻苯二甲酸二(2-乙基己基)酯(di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate,DEHP)代谢物肝毒性暴露风险系数>1.0。
      结论 该校一年级学生PAEs暴露存在潜在生殖损伤和肝损伤风险。

       

      Abstract:
      Objective To measure the urine levels of phthalate (PAE) metabolites in children, and assess the health risk of exposure to PAEs among children.
      Methods Urine samples were collected from 202 first-grade students, and high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was used to measure the urine levels of 8 PAE metabolites, i.e., mono(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (MEHP), mono(2-ethyl-5-hydroxyhexyl) phthalate (MEHHP), mono(2-ethyl-5-oxohexyl) phthalate (MEOHP), monobutyl phthalate (MBP), monoethyl phthalate (MEP), monomethyl phthalate (MMP), monobenzyl phthalate (MBzP), and mono-n-octyl phthalate (MOP). Then the health risk of exposure to PAEs were assessed based on the known biomonitoring equivalent (BE) and the concentrations of the above metabolites in urine.
      Results MEHP, MEOHP, MEHHP and MBP had a detection rate of >90%. BE analysis showed that the hazard index (HI) of developmental toxic effects was < 1.0 among all students, the HI of reproductive toxic effects of DBP metabolites was >1.0 in 46% of the students, and the HI of hepatotoxicity of DEHP metabolites was >1.0 in 10% of all girls.
      Conclusion Exposure to PAEs has the potential risks of reproductive impairment and liver injury among the first-grade students in this school.
