    Sewage Disinfection Effect in Leishenshan Hospital during COVID-19 Pandemic

    • 摘要: 2020年初新型冠状病毒肺炎(COVID-19)疫情暴发, 武汉雷神山医院火速建成并投入使用。作为阻止疫情蔓延的重要一环, 医院污水无害化处理至关重要。本调查利用连续在线检测设备对医院污水处理效果进行监测, 并结合实验室检测结果进行一致性评价。在线监测结果显示, 总余氯均值(8.7±0.8)mg/L, 氨氮均值(3.6±1.2)mg/L, pH均值6.6±0.2, COD均值98±55 mg/L。抽样检测结果显示, 沙门氏菌和志贺氏菌均未检出。实验室检测与连续在线监测两种方法测定的总余氯、pH值无统计学差异(P>0.05), 粪大肠菌群均≤100 MPN/L。结果表明雷神山医院污水排放符合《医疗机构水污染排放标准》, 使用期间未出现因污水处理不当而引起的疫情扩散, 保障医院安全运行。

       

      Abstract: With the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia(COVID-19) in early 2020, Leishenshan Hospital was quickly established and put into use. As an important part of preventing the spread of the epidemic, the harmless treatment of hospital sewage is essential. In this survey, continuous online testing equipment was used to monitor the effect of hospital sewage treatment, and the consistency evaluation was conducted in conjunction with sampling testing. The online monitoring results showed that the average total residual chlorine was (8.7±0.8)mg/L, the average ammonia nitrogen was (3.6±1.2)mg/L, the average pH was 6.6±0.2, and the average COD was (98±55)mg/L; the sampling test results showed that both Salmonella and Shigella Not detected; the total residual chlorine and pH value detected by the two methods of sampling and continuous online monitoring were not statistically different (P>0.05), and the fecal coliforms were all ≤100 MPN/L. The results show that the sewage discharge of Leishenshan Hospital meets the Water Pollution Discharge Standard for Medical Institutions, the hospital sewage collection pipe network should be set up separately for different sources such as isolation area wards, medical technical rooms, and clean areas to avoid cross-contamination of the drainage system, and help protect medical staff during the epidemic.
