Abstract: To summarize the statues of reference materials in different countries. All the data were collected through website databases of different organizations and countries, such as International Organization for Standardization/Committee on reference materials(ISO/REMCO), CO de d'Indexation des MA tériaux de Référence(COMAR), United States, European Countries, Japan and China. The reference material developing trends of China in recent 6 years were analyzed. And the challenges that studies on reference materials in China faced were discussed.
