    某医学院教师对医疗废物处理认知现状分析与对策

    Cognition Status on Disposal of Medical Wastes among Teachers in a Medical College and its Countermeasurs

      目的  了解某医学院教师对医疗废物处理的认知状况,为规范医疗废物管理提出相关对策。
      方法  采用问卷调查和记录检查的形式,共调查156名教师对医疗废物处理的认知状况,分析存在的问题及教师的教龄、职称、学历对医疗废物处理的认知率和问题发生的影响。
      结果  医学院教师对医疗废物集中处理的现状完全不知道占57.05%; 对医疗废物危害性认识完全知道的占2.56%。在处理医疗废物管理过程中,医疗废物分类标识不清问题为23.07%,其次是医疗废物桶混有生活垃圾为16.03%,利器盒反复使用为14.74%; 教师的教龄、职称、学历与医疗废物处理的认知率和问题发生率无显著关联性 (P > 0.05)。
      结论  提高教师对医疗废物处理重要性的认识,加强医疗废物相关的卫生管理,才能确保学校环境安全和教师职业健康。

       

      Abstract:
      Objective  To understand the cognition on disposal of medical wastes among teachers in a medical college, and to propose certain countermeasures for medical wastes management.
      Methods  A questionnaire and an inspection card were used to investigate the cognition on disposal of medical waste among 156 teachers in the college. The correlations of the seniority, professional titles and educational backgrounds of teachers and their cognition degree on medical waste disposal, along with the impacts on incidence of problems were analyzed.
      Results  The cognition degrees of teachers showed quite differently: 57.05% of them had no knowledge about the centralized process of medical waste; only 2.56% of them clearly knew the harm of medical waste; 23.07% of them were not clear about the management process of disposing medical waste as well as the classification of signs of such wastes. In addition, the incidence of mixing medical wastes with domestic garbage and repeatedly use the box special for sharp medical equipment were 16.03% and 14.74% respectively. The seniority, professional titles, and educational background of teachers had no correlation with the cognition degree on medical wastes disposal and the incidence of problem (P > 0.05).
      Conclusion  The importance of medical wastes disposal should be recognized by medical teachers and its management should be strengthened at the same time to ensure safety of college environment and the health condition of teachers and students.
